I’m off with the family for a five days holiday in Crete. A long-needed time-out. I love my home, but once in a while, it’s good to get out of your way and get a fresh perspective and a good restart.

A few things that make for a great holiday

A nice place to stay. It can be simple but accommodating and cozy.

Good company – family or good friends.

Good hikes out in nature, a good view is always nice for the soul.

For me, climbing outdoors is also a big treat. 

Good, preferably local organic food. No matter where you are in the world. 

If all these come together, that’s an excellent restart for anyone, don’t you think?
