Universal love
In his beautiful book When you greet me I Bow: Notes and Reflections from a life in Zen, Norman Fischer says this:
“Love is change; it is the movement and color of the world. Love is a feeling of constancy, openness, and appreciation for the wonder of the world, a feeling that we can be true to, no matter what circumstances may bring.”
I only ask that we include ourselves in that love; we are part of the universe.
As many poets once said: “We are the world.”
